I just picked up a 1954 Winchester 94 other than a somewhat messed up stock the only thing I am questioning is the hammer(just horizontal serrations). Can anyone around that year with presumably correct guns tell me if that is right or if it should be the earlier style of hammer with more ornate knurling style? I can't seem to find this on the web.
