Hello all.

I was given a Winchester 1400 to work on. The bolt carrier release is broken and I'm trying to source parts.

The original parts were plastic and a common problem from what I've read. There are steel replacement parts, but I'm not sure what all the parts are that will need replacing.

So far I've found the bolt carrier release, the new spring and a spring retaining cup. Anything else?

Anyone know how these parts fit into the gun? I don't have the parts yet, ordering them soon, bit what to avoid extra shipping charges if I missed anything. (Gun is not worth a lot)

Thank you for any input.

Add an all metal feed throat while you’re at it. They’re plastic too and once one side breaks it’s a single shot that you have to load from the open chamber.

I'm only finding plastic feed throats. @ Numrich.

Any other sources for parts?
