Feels like a dumb question but I’m curious.

Mmmm... why?

I just bought a PTR91 GIRK and tossed the shitty G3 baby shit green furniture. I had to replace the buttstock screws by drilling pilot holes in my Cetme C wood stock and screwing in wood screws. For the handguard, I opted for drilling out the PTR metal material a smidgen at a time and used a CETME C screw instead of a pin.

I prefer the wood on my carbine vs. the shitty beat up surplus plastic.

Scrubbed with Simple Green, lightly sanded and BLO for the win.

Because the 7.62 CETME receivers are a completely different size and shape from the CETME-L. Your G3/91 to CETME furniture swap doesn't really have any relationship to what is being asked.

CETME-L shown center. CETME-C on either side.

Seriously...

Apples vs oranges... if you don't  know the difference between a CETME C and a CETME L the above pic should make it abundantly clear.

You’ve got to admit, wood stocks on a Cetme 5.56 would be have a very Stg-like vibe
