Ended up with a m2124lr with a filmless tube and was wondering if anyone has put one on a 17 without issue?

People do it.  I prob wouldn't.  I believe the are rated up to .308, but not CAR hardened to handle the forward recoil impulse/harmonics of the SCAR 17/MK17 though.
