Yeah that's up next gotta pick up another surefire can first. Going to shoot it for the first time today. Probably gonna be a little lame with no brace but that's okay.

Quoted: I got mine in yesterday, shot it today. Ran perfect ??. Fit and finish are very good. If you have a TP9 brass catcher make sure you mention that when you order it, the first one I got wasn't compatible with the brass catcher, he redesigned the right side pic rail and sent me the new one and it now works fine. Not sure if all the ones he is sending out now are the redesigned one or not, but thought I'd mention it. View Quote Less gas to the face with this design? |

Are there still issues with the mag feedlips cracking or was that just a bad batch/ rare occurrence? I'm thinking a TP9 will by my next purchase once things get back to normal around here.

What’s a good price to look for when purchasing a TP9 these days? Was about to pull the trigger on the APC 300 but I’ve been strangely drawn to theTP9.
I’m seeing roughly 2k at most stores. |

There have been a couple of TP9Ns on Gunborker going unsold at $1700 opening bids.

If there was a terrible problem you would think they would have fixed the issue. They have several firearms that use that mag. |

I picked up a lightly used TP9 with 6 mags, B&T telescoping brace, tailhook mod 1, custom Smith afg, and custom smith charging handle. It will be here this weekend.
I need to get this suppressor wait started. Bad. |

I ordered one. Done buying stuff for a while now |

The irons are WAY too low for me. I definitely need something sitting higher and it'll be freaking awesome. I like the look of of the tubular red dots on the TP9. The MRO looks nice on there. I had a red dot on mine. I thought it was the perfect height with the lower 1/3 mount.

View Quote I just bought my TP9 in march this year, late 2019 manufacture alpine green and it broke the feed lips on the mag it came with. The mags I ordered from brownells appear to be different. Slightly darker, don't have a cut in the rear rib, and have numbers on the magazine that appear to be stamped rather than etched. I don't know if these are older or newer, but I've got about 500 rounds through each of the Brownells ordered mags and about 600 through the factory shipped mag. Brownell's mags also seem to feed better with 150gr flatnose. The one that shipped with the gun hated the stuff. |

Has anyone done business with Black Ops Defense?
They offer a “stock hinge relief service” and stock block repair on broken TP9s. Link to their TP9 gunsmithing services From their site: “We also relieve some of the tightness and tension from the factory that causes the over exertion and eventually braking, of the factory TP9/MP9 hinge. When completed and refinished the work looks almost factory.” I didn’t know there was a stock issue. Their plastic welding looks clean. |

I'm looking to buy my third gun, I have a Glock 19 and a Daniel Defense AR-15 and now really want something a little more unusual and fun. I think the TP9 is perfect for that.
There is one on the marketplace for what seems like a fair price: https://www.ar15.com/forums/equipment-exchange/BandT-TP9-N-Black/88-2032760/ Is this a fair price? Is there anything I should look for? |

Quoted: Quoted: Looking for the correct information to form 1 a new TP9. Model: TP9-N Does it say N on your gun? If not, and you don't plan to remark that's not correct. Yes, I found this out the hard way - ATF doesn't care what model the gun is, they care what passes for a model name MARKING that's actually on the gun. I suppose you could try to tell them you're going to mark it that way yourself, but in my (very limited) experience, they MAY ask you to correct the application (luckily my case) or they may outright reject it. (It turns out PTR doesn't mark model names on their guns and ATF wants "N/A" or something similar there.) I've also seen plenty of approvals for the "wrong" model name (some examiners accept "MPX" while others insist on "SIG MPX") so YMMV but I would go with freeride1's advice and match what's actually marked on YOUR gun. |
