I'm no expert but it looks like a fake. That or it is really really well used. Hopefully someone who knows what the hell they are talking about will chime in for you.

That looks an awfully lot like my old auto except for the tanto blade. I can't remember what mine is called but it was the biggest auto they had and they didn't come with a pocket clip.

The overall length including the handle is 9 inches.

I sent an email to Benchmade asking if I can send them some photos.  Waiting on their response.
