Just a heads up: On Friday last, I ordered 500 - 5.56mm cases, for $134.00 plus free shipping, direct from Starline Brass. They were marked as "Backordered".

This pic was taken in France.
 Those appear to be primer cartons. That's it, I am invading France. I know of some coastline that works fairly well for that. [@SideSalad acknowledged] Meet you all there on Utah Beach June 6 at sunrise, any late comers should consider Omaha Beach, any early birds should consider dropping in somewhere behind the beaches  , anyone who enjoys boating and fireworks should sign up for a cruise just off the beaches.

It ran very slow, but allowed me to go all the way through the checkout process. Creedmoor Sports has a line of American Bullet Company-branded “practice bullets,” which are supposedly not quite as perfect as the highest of high-level shooters need. They currently list a .308, 125 grain bullet priced at $34.95/100 (34.95¢ each), $86.95/250 (34.78¢ each), and $169.95/500 (33.95¢ each). The web page lists them as “HPBT” but the photo shows flat based bullets.
Except for the 125 grain weight, they look an awful lot like Barnes 120 grain OTFB bullets (found in Barnes-made, UMC-branded 300 Blackout ammunition). The Barnes bullets are awesome… I haven’t bought these bullets (yet), but the price isn’t bad for quality .308 bullets, and if they’re anything like the Barnes bullets, they’re great for Blackout. Edit/Update: I contacted Creedmoor about the mismatch between the label and the picture, and today they got back with me. They thanked me for pointing this out, and they have corrected the label to “HP” |
