[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Where do you get ammo?

Just want to see what and where everyone is getting ammo. I tried Fedarm which unfortunately was a mistake followed by Freedom Munitions which turned out to be great ammo though they have been out of stock for over 6 months. My rifle unfortunately doesn’t like American Eagle and I’m not looking into reloading just paying for factory or remanufactured.

My last two purchases have been some of the 22lr deals from Brownells and PSA, but for centerfire, I've been finding good deals from SGAmmo when I've been in a buying mood, lately.

I originally bought from Freedom too, now I just scoop up deals when I see them. Just got several from American Marksman and they work but dirty

Target Sports USA. I've got a prime membership, so I haven't found anything cheaper.

I try to buy a box of something I shoot every time I'm out at a store that carries ammo. Builds up my stock bit by bit. except for my .204, because I reload those for much cheaper.

lots of it comes from wal mart
some from farm and fleet
most recently from sportsmans guide

I am so glad I can buy it now
reloading really sucks when it has to be done to shoot

FPNI. SGAmmo is where I get mine.

I also don't shoot remans. I used to, until I did some research. "Never shoot another man's reloads" is a good rule to live by. Didn't change when they started mass-producing stuff either.

Outdoor Unlimited had Federal for 100/$250 recently, just bought some and it came in a fat 50 can. Most of my ammo comes from Target Sports. But they've been out of .50 lately except for PMC which is $40/10. Not terrible, but not great either.

Just bought 100 rounds of 4 to 1 linked lake city from SG and it's great ammo. United Nations is selling a 150 round can of factory lake city M33 for $400 shipped.

Realized I'm still shooting Olin/Winchester AP I bought a long time ago when I worked at Barrett. Bought a bunch over 2 years time at $1.10 per round.
And I still have over 2500 rds of it left.

ammoseek . com usually leads me back to SGAmmo so that is my main go to store. There are others that may be cheaper until you add in shipping. Then there those that insist on an adult signature for all deliveries. Good luck wit that since I work days.
