Looking for a second fde mawl to complete another NV setup but can't find any in stock anywhere.
Any dealers have a eta on restock of the fde mawls? Preferably with the ec2 tailcap. Not a wtb thread, just curious if anyone knows when we can expect more in stock. |
|
The FDE MAWLS were a limited run. We sold them out pretty quick. Check with jaimie at tnvc dot com or sales at tnvc dot com. Thank you.

Checked with Jaimie and I we are getting more FDE's in end of January/beginning of Feb. Guess they cranked up more FDE's! Last we heard they were gonna make very limited runs.

May want to check with Operationally Proven Tactical. I have bought a couple MAWLs from them and even when out of stock never waited more than 2-3 weeks. At one point I missed them just being in stock and they reached out to BE Meyers and had them directly drop ship to me so I could have for a class. I know they just recently had a few FDEs in stock.
Been extremely happy with their service and shipping. |

I got an FDE one from Weapon Outfitters said they had it in stock, but it took 2 weeks to arrive.
|
|
Well..one popped up in stock on weapon outfitters and by the time I was checking out it went out of stock again lol

Quoted: Bummer, I will keep my eyes peeled for you. Do not see many in stock if ever, but I am always shopping around. View Quote Hoping to find one before the end of Feb, earlier is better obviously lol. Wonder if BEM just can't keep up with the demand or if theres another reason they're never in stock. Also why are they $100 more at tnvc than every other place on the internet |

Quoted: TNVCs premium or BEMs? or do they have some special version or something? i dont see the point in spending an extra $100 for no reason if its the exact same. View Quote Matter of fact, Teddy is supposed to be getting me a replacement piece from Act In Black at SHOT this week, that's pretty good customer service in my book. He has also sent me 4D pads when I screwed up and ordered the wrong ones. |

It might have gone up, my price from them was the same as you for the EC2 tailcap but with sales tax

This, the first to get them in stock will probably get my money so if that is tnvc then $2699 it is. If not then I'll probably spend that saved $99 at tnvc anyways lol. Eta: WO said mid to late February for them to get restock. |

B. E. Meyers increased the dealer price for 2020 right after the last shipments for the year, cutting dealer margins even slimmer, which is fine, materials costs and overhead can change, etc., the price is what it is, and sometimes costs go up, and it’s a testament to the quality of the device for the end-user that as a business we continue to sell it and recommend it for a significantly lower margin than we’re able (in many cases mandated by MAP policies) to get on other products in our catalog.
I don’t consult with other vendors about pricing when the new price lists come out (that would be price fixing), but may notice that everyone else still listing them at the “old” price is also out of stock, and many don’t allow backorders like we do, which is an internal business decision, but knowing what they cost for dealers, I would not be surprised to see some prices jump up when they’re back in stock and able to be ordered. The difference is that if you backorder now, you immediately get put on the list for when we get them back in stock, though, depending on how many backorders we currently have (I don’t have that information in front of me) and how many B. E. Meyers will ship when they get the chance (depends on how many dealer backorders *they* have and how many they can get out the door at a time), it may or may not be the first shipment we get. If you wait for them to be back in stock, you’re competing against everyone else that’s also waiting for them to be in stock and getting the “notify me” e-mail after a brief drought, with a chance that the price will end up being at or near the same price point once they can actually be ordered again. Neither is the right or wrong way to do things, it’s just whichever you prefer to do personally, but there’s a little bit of how the sausage is made. ~Augee |

Why are these things so hard to get?
I want a black one now (have FDE). Does TNVC charge when ordering or when it ships? I’ve never backordered anything from you guys, and not really a fan of giving someone cash to hang on to “if they get enough in to fulfill my order” Because here’s a list of vendors that know when and how many they are getting in: A) |

I can certainly understand not wanting to do that, and that is a personal buying decision.
Again, some companies accept backorders, some do not--we receive regular shipments--only so many can be produced and then shipped at any given interval, and sometimes the existing backorders eat up all of any given stocking shipment, sometimes they do not, but there are always more shipments coming. If you're curious about lead times prior to ordering, you can always e-mail [email protected] or call during business hours, and they can let you know based on how many backorders there are (there have rarely, if ever not been backorders for the MAWL specifically) what the estimated ETA is. ~Augee |

I just saw these guys posting on their IG story, looked like they must have gotten some in or maybe will soon -

That’s a great price. I already have a tan with EC1 and want a black one (I emailed TNVC but no response yet) but for $2400 I might just deal with the color difference.
ETA: TNVC stated 6-8 weeks on black w/EC1 |

Now the long 7 - 14 day backorder wait
Still though...$200 - $300 off is pretty damn good |

Somewhat related question probably not worth posting separately. Do MAWL’s ever see secondhand market? Would like to get my hands on one but still a bit far from new price money in my hands to try new right now.
