Just curious: what type of accuracy should I expect from an M82A1 using CBC M33 ammo?

2.5 MOA. Depends on fitment of barrel, maybe a bit less

Probably 2-3 MOA, neither are considered accurate.

Although some would tell you that an M82 is a sniper rifle, it's role has always been anti-materiel.

Ball BC is about .62, match grade 50 BMG is 1.0+. I wouldn't waste match ammo in an M82 as it has to be loaded to fit the mag or be single loaded. Now, APIT, Mk-211 Raufous... is where a mag dump from an M82 would shine!

Thank you.  I know the M82A1 isn't meant for shooting groups, but wasn't sure exactly what to expect from the CBC M33.

I was getting a new scope on it sighted in at 400Y and was walking all over the corners of an 18" gong.

I've got a 20 inch gong and at 550 yards there is no guarantee I will hit it with any given shot of CBC M33.

I was holding some pretty tight groups of 1" with PPU 725gr brass solids in the 107A1, but standard M33 ball was 3" at 100yds. Out to 200 the PPU was 2" and the M33 opens up to at times 5".
