What sub $1,000 9MM pistol would you SBR

Well before this brace pistol stuff I was planning on SBRing my pistol anyway, FM 9mm upper w/ side charging, gobbles from Endomags no problem. Then get around to affording one of the 223 uppers that don't need a buffer tube, so I could leave the 9mm buffer set up in the lower and run 9mm, 22lr, or the 223 up top.

For $1k to play with for just a 9mm set up I'd be looking to do the same but probably do a delayed blowback build to allow use of a standard carbine buffer which would expand on the upper possibilities.

I have the AP5-P and it's awesome. SBR'd it. Also have a Draco 9S, PC Charger, Scorpion, AR-V, and KP-9 that all fit your requirements. Not all are SBR'd. Hard to pick a favorite. Banshee in 9mm that takes Endomags is a great choice to SBR as you can then slap whatever upper you want onto it in any barrel length.

Hard to pick a favorite. AP-5 is sublime and like a toy suppressed. KP-9 has been flawless

What’s stupid is that I’ve had the gun for a couple months, and SBR’d it, but still have yet to shoot it. I have a lot of guns and suppressors that have yet to be shot. Such is life I guess. I’d post a picture of it, but I don’t know how unless it’s on some imagine hosting site.

A poster earlier said he got a GHM9 for $1k, but I can’t find one for that at all. Lowest I found was $1400. I think the GHM9 would be a great option if your budget was 1,500, but at 1k it’s gotta be the Scorpion.

I have a lot of SBR 9’s, one of which is a scorpion. It is a nice gun and can take a beating. Tough to beat it at 1k imo.

The MP40P is certainly under $1K, and you can find a used CMMG Banshee for under $1K, as you can with the MP5K clones.
