S&b 147 hollow points. Good load to run through can and a decent bulk price. Have had no issues with it so far.

147gr Bayou FP with 3.5 grains of VV-N320 seated to 1.135". Makes 137PF in my Shadow 2, which I would consider full power. For reference American Eagle 124gr FMJ is at 132PF in the same gun.

I am a competitive shooter.
I like 147 grain bullets. I can shoot them faster than lighter bullets, in competition. I load them over the fastest powder, because the gun recoils less. Again, I'm a competitive shooter. I used to use TMJ'd (electroplated) and jacketed bullets before copper prices went crazy. Now I use coated bullets from Blue Bullets or Ibeji Heads. I need to exceed 850fps, but I try not to go much beyond 900 fps. My "old" load was a jacketed hollow point from Zero bullets, loaded at 1,150" over 3.2 grains of Vihta Vouri N-310 powder (don't look for it in a manual; it is not published). These days, it is a Blue Bullet 147 over 3.4 grains of "old" Solo 1000. I'm still working on 8lbs I bought back in 2006. |

Never loaded 9mm cause the price point just wasn't there from what I can buy cheap jacked lead bullets. Interested on load for subsonic since I have a can in jail.

Least expensive .355 115gr RN plated that I found, without extensive shopping, $.07 per. Primer/powder ~ $.03 Buckets of range-pick-up ~ $.000000000000000001 Least expensive factory 9X19 that I could find; again, without shopping; is Wolf 115gr steel-case $.145 per round without including shipping cost. AR-9s are such a hoot to shoot it adds up fast. |

My standard issue 9mm load.
120gr TC cast and powder coated over 3.8grs of Titegroup. ~1050fps 4.48 inch barrel. Accurate, cheap and clean. |

Haven't experimented much with 9MM and only use Unique powder and CCI 500 primers. Winchester cases are my favorite and main cases used. I've only loaded 124 grain bullets, RN jacketed and plated, 124 gr. Speer Gold Dots, and Remington 124 Golden Sabers. I load 5.0 grains of Unique for RN jacketed and plated. 5.2 grains for Remington Golden Sabers which isn't max. My fastest load is at 5.4 grains of Unique with the 124 gr. Speer Gold Dot for about 1134 fps in a G19. Wouldn't go any higher than 5.4 even though Speer's max data is higher. Seating depth will effect pressure. I load most 124 gr. Round Nose to 1.150" while my favorite RN is Winchester 124's and it has a longer pointed nose and oal is 1.160". All 124 gr. hollowpoints get loaded to 1.120"-1.125". Check your data sources before using these loads. With Unique and 124 gr. bullets in 9MM a 4.5 grain charge is a safe starting level but very mild. At 4.8 grains it should cycle most all pistols reliably but is still a moderate load. My loads from 5.0-5.2 grains is my favorites but Speer Gold Dot 124 gr. is a good load. Shoots well in G19 pistols and Kel-Tec 16" carbine rifle.

ETA: I forgot propellant data. I prefer 4.3 grains of Titegroup over Winchester primers. I'm sure I don't have to warn you of overcharging with a "hot" propellant like Titegroup, but in a little 9mm case you can still do it. It's also not as readily visible if you're used to looking inside of wide 45 ACP cases |

I am using 124 gr. RMR JHP over TightGroup at 1.06".
The Hodgdon website shows 3.6 - 4.1 grains of Titegroup for 124 gr. projectiles at 1.150". I load mine a bit shorter so the feed reliably in all of my guns. Work up from low-to-high and verify each load before moving up to the next load. I assume no liability here. |

Since I have a lot of Bullseye I have loaded up a thousand or so 124 FMJ's with 4.0 grains BE. Not the most modern powder but I have a ton of it and need to burn it up. Feels like factory range loads. After the BE is gone I'll probably experiment with some slower-burning powder for my two PCC's. I have a couple pounds Titegroup I bought during the shortage I'll use for my pistols.

The Precision Delta 115 grain hollow point (finding out the Zero 115 grain hollow point does just as good) over 8.0 grains of Blue Dot with a CCI small pistol primer.
I believe that is 0.5 grains under the max load listed in my reloading manual, but if you use it you should begin with the starting load and work up just as you would for any new load your developing for your pistol/rifle. This load shoots well in six or seven CZ pistols from a P09 to a P01 with a Pre B CZ85 and several CZ75 Compacts in the middle. I use a Hornady electronic powder measure/scale to get exactly 8.0 grains in every shell. |

my favorite or at least most shot is a 125gr rnfp cast tumble lubed in 45/45/10 seated 1.12" over 4.9gr unique cci 500. does a touch over 1100 in my glock 17 and shoots great and is economical. cost's me under a nickle a round and some time obviously.

Win 115 hbfmj loaded long over any suitable powder. Preference for 5.2 gns 7625, but out of production. Hp-38 or unique work well, and likely lots of others as well. Very accurate bullet if you get case neck tension good.
For hollow points another fan of Hdy 124 xtp over AA-7 with fed mag primer. AA-7 also works well with 147 grainers. There are lots of good combinations, but tend to stay away from lead or plated. Although they can be made to work very well, may be tough to do if you're loading for a lot of differing pistols. |

It goes ‘bang’ but there are indeed better choices IMO.
I run mostly copper plated for my 45s. I got a good deal on bulk .355 124 grain FMJ ($0.08/ea) so I bought a bunch of those, but I’ll defenitely look into coated. Once again, thank y’all very much for the great info. Much appreciated

115gr Hornady HAP/XTP - 5.7 grains of CFE Pistol or 4.9 grains of HP-38, CCI 500, OAL of 1.125 Used the Rainier HP load data from the Western Powders website and got the CFE and HP-38 data from the Lee reloading book. All four are close to max. Used mixed once fired brass (some S&B, Winchester, Federal, Remington, Starline, IMI, CBC, Herters, and one or two Blazers). Fired them all through my 92a1, Walther PPS, Ruger Security 9, and XD. |

Full power, 115 gr Hornady XTP, 6.7 grs Power Pistol. (I use 1.10 OAL for all my 9mm loads due to my CZ 85) Very accurate, powerful load.
My do everything load is 6.5 grs True Blue. (listed max 6.7 grs) For any 115 gr and 120 gr home cast (powder coated), plated or jacketed bullet. Shoots great in LC9, CZ 85, AR9. If you've never used True Blue it's a ball powder that actually is the shape of a sphere, so it measures very well. If you can't measure exact charges with a metal powder measure with True Blue, your technique is very poor. Ask for help. |

147gr bullet of your choice (I like FMJ or JHP, but coated, lead, and plated work ok too) and a near/at max charge of WSF (~4.0gr depending on what data you look at). Runs about as fast as 147gr defensive loads I've chrono'd... 950fps or so. Feels just about the same as RA9T to me ( my preferred carry load). I recently loaded up 2500 rounds of this, so I'm set for a little while.
I've also had really good results with AA#7 under 147gr Jacketed bullets at the top end of the listed the charges. Meters like water, if anything, it's TOO fine. |

My 124gr defensive loads are all loaded with True Blue they produce 1250fps.
I am working on 147gr loads now, but haven't gotten where I want them. I tried Power Pistol, way to much snap, muzzle flash, and recoil, especially when compared to True Blue. |

For awhile I've been using 5 gr of WSF behind a 124 gr FMJ or plated bullet. Gets just under 1100 fps in a 3.9" Sig P320 and 1265 fps out of my Ruger PCC.

Old Load:
Berry's 147 grain, 4.7 grains Power Pistol. About 980 FPS out of my Hi-Power I also had luck with: Berry's 124 grain and 7.6 grains of AA#7. This keeps it above 1100 fps (hi-power has FTE issues below 1100 fps with this bullet weight) I have switched to Hi-Teck coated cast for almost everything now. Current is 147 from Bayou or Missouri, 4.5 grains of Silhouette. Have not had the time to run them over a chrony yet. Edit to add: since Dryflash brought up CZ's. My notes say I load to 1.160 and have no problems with the notoriously short throat on my CZ-85 |

Zero 147 grain JHP, 4.0 grains of WSF.
Full match version-Federal Small Pistol Match Primer, Starline virgin brass. Everything else- mixed brass, CCI SPP, loaded on Dillon 1050. Shoots well in over a dozen 9mm's. Everything from a Glock 43, 19,17, 34MOS, 17L to several 9mm AR's it works well and is accurate. |

For years 115 gr Win JHP with 6.5 gr AA#5. That now shows as +P and I was getting neck splits. I dropped the charge to 6.1 gr AA#5. Nice shooting load. Typically Win SPP. The Win JHP's have gotten pricey, I'll have to do some looking when I shot up my current supply.

I keep coming back to 3.4 grains of TiteGroup under virtually any 147gr bullet loaded to somewhere between 1.125" and 1.160" depending on nose profile.

If you want "high powered" however, a regular old 115gr FMJ-RN loaded to max OAL and driven by 7.0 grains of Power Pistol chonographs at over 1300 FPS for me. From a carbine it was 1450ish. It was also extremely accurate.

Lots of Power Pistol recommendations, I might have to pick up a pound to try.
So far I’ve had good results with 115 grain FMJ over 5.5 grains Auto Comp (just because I had it on hand) No velocity data yet, but they behave just like Federal and Winchester factory stuff. I’ve also loaded up some 115s & Universal, will chrono a few iterations of both powders soon. I also have a bunch of 124s on the way Thanks again fellas
