I bought some Peterson brass a while back and started messing around with some loads with mixed results.
Nosler 150 gr Ballistic Tip with 45gr IMR4064 was moa with CCI 400’s
Sunday I ran some 168 hbthp with 43.5gr R15 with CCI 450’s. Definitely had more punch than the Nosler and IMR combo.
It was very windy and I couldn’t hold still to save my life but still managed a decent group of .8 MOA
I feel confident I could close it up to < .5 if I do my part at the trigger.
With that said, those of you the load small primer brass, would you care to share your pet load?
Yes I have large primer brass and yes I load those as well.

46 grains of varget with 155 bullet, palma load

Thanks. Right now I’m down to 2 pounds of varget. Currently saving them for the chance I dip my feet back into High-power xtc matches.
Though I do have some SW precision rifle I can work up.
May I ask what primers you used?

I use CCI 450 when ever possible

My best .308 loads came from using a 175 SMK and RL15.

Today I tried 168gr ELD Match, 42.5gr R15, CCI 450’s, and Peterson small primer brass.
2.810 COAL
I must admit I think I just hit the sweet spot for my rifle.
Clover leaf holes at 100 yards and about .5 moa at 200
Anyone have a good guess as what ballpark fps that load would run?

Each bbl is a rule unto itself.  The only way to know is chronograph it!
