I had no idea they were that much now... I have a 1916 long rifle with virtually zero bore erosion according to the data disc in the stock. Overall condition is easily 99% plus. Back in the late late 80's I ran a single box of Hirtenberger ammo through it when I first got it and put it away until now (Paid just over $125 when purchased). Has a CAI microstamp on the front underside of the barrel. Just a really gorgeous rifle overall. Not looking to sell, but figured it was worth around 5 to 6 hundred at the most.

I agree prices on GB have become insane , but you sometimes do find a diamond in the ruff.

Just don't fall in love with Swedish rifles based on the stock disk -- people seem to forget the evaluation on those barrels can be decades old.

In case someone doesn't know how, you can learn to read the disks here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0p2wT3ZCLUg

I got mine at cabelas.  Short rifle version with a very nice bore and shoots well.  Nice wood too.  I don't remember what I paid but maybe around $350-ish about 4 years ago.

In excellent shape, prepare to pay up. Maybe 700? That might even be low.
