I was outback with my dog playing night fetch and when we came back in I noticed there's what looks like a hair or something but both front and back lens are clean. Any idea what is going on here

Could be a hair. Sometimes a unit will look crystal clear and then after using it a bit, getting knocked around a little, etc. a small piece of debris that wasn't in the field of view will get moved around and end up in the field of view. It's an easy fix. Contact whoever you purchased from and mention that you have some debris in field and I'm sure they will take care of you.
If it's used or without a warranty, etc. you can clean it yourself pretty easy. 99% of the time it's on the eyepiece lens and easy to get to. |

Much higher chance the hair is on the inside of an optics lense or the outside of your tube, rather than in your tube.

Looks like a small hair either on the inside, either on the eye objective/tube surface or on the IIT front window. And, assume it's a PVS-14. If you not comfortable taking it apart yourself, send it to one of the vendors on here to get cleaned and re-purged.

I’m going to say they used a Qtip instead of a foam swab to clean the lens and that got left over.

Got a return label yesterday and it's on the way back to the manufacturer. Told my wife this is why I need two pvs 14's
