Bought a 40mm to 26.5mm adapter that came with this threaded plate. Maybe it's obvious, but I can't figure out what its for. The guy I bought it from also has no idea.

One side is threaded the other has a recessed flange like for an o-ring or circlip. Best I've come up with is for extraction of a spent round, but I don't see how it would work, lol. |
