Helmet 1: X300V & Princtontec Switch IR/white
Helmet 2: Inforce WML IR (1 cell) and Princtontec Switch IR/white The X300V is a great helmet light with decent range. The WML IR has a great flood and 2 settings high/low in both spectrums and is my go to for hiking. The low setting is perfect in the woods. |

I’ve started using the wml as a helmet light. Mostly because it’s easier to switch from white to Ir vs the surefire. It’s just a flip of a switch vs pulling the bezel out and turning on the surefire.

It does, but it doesn't end up making much of a difference to me. My helmet-mounted V1 is functionally identical to the M300V in my use (they're both in S&S M-AX mounts). It's simply easier, IMHO, to have the one be the "high power" spot light, and have one be the "admin/nav/task" light, and the Princeton Tec lights are fairly cheap as far as NV accessories go, and at least on ARC rails are pretty easy to throw on. ~Augee |

Does the mount move when you try to change the bezel settings? I originally was going to buy a M-AX mount, but was worried about having to use 2 hands when switching the bezel on the V1 from white to IR and back. I received some feedback that the ball mount isn't that strong, and end users prefer the fixed S&S mount, but obviously are losing the adjustment flexibility of the M-AX. |

For mil/le guys, have you noticed the x300 reflecting light off the reflector in the day or day night when theres illumination present? Ie, you're in a lit area and the x300 is in the dark looking towards you?
