I was reconfiguring my counterweight setup tonight and realized I'd never weighed my whole helmet.

It weighs 99 oz; or 6 pounds, 3 ounces.  Buzz, your girlfriend . . . WOOF!

What does your setup weigh?

93 ounces
sometimes feels like nothing, sometimes feels like a lead brick on the head.
PVS14 on norotos mount, howard leight ear pro, energizer hardcase light, (3) AA batteries, unknown 3A ballistic high cut helmet, one layer krylon spraypaint

My little scale is too small to handle the helmet, and the bathroom scale might be a bit coarse, but as near as I can tell it's 6.8 pounds or 108.8 ounces

I am thinking of mounting a spare 14 with GoPro on the side rail, that should get me close to 8 pounds

Wifes minimalist setup 62oz
5.5oz weight under the pads in the back plus anvis batt. pack but probably needs 2-3oz more to balance it out.

Mine is a little over 5lbs, I'll check later.

Do you have a counterweight and I just don't see it?

It's a ballistic so no, no counterweight at all, just the 3x AA external battery pack and a few extra AA in a velcro holder. The H nape actually holds this together well and if I really need to move around the AMP keeps it all in place

7lb 15oz (127oz) or 3.6kg loaded with eyes + ears. Got batteries everywhere they'll fit - both packs, COTI/DPAM/MOD3s, lights and ears.

Pulling the rubber perimeter pieces off helps keep them from fogging. Have worn them a few times while flying my ultralight that doesn't have a windshield; they did pretty good in the breeze.

Definitely hefty. I’m not a small guy though.

6lb 12oz with eyes/ears removed and
6lb even with COTI and its pack removed too.

Hell bro, with that UL on a carbon helmet you’d be well under 4lbs

Lot to be said for CF/polymer bumps ~ 1lb of weight saved ~ 1 x 5.56 28-30 rd mag, ~ 2lb saving, one extra litre of water or 2 x 5.56 28-30 rd mag - let alone saving on neck and weight distribution.  Good, interesting thread.
