Howdy all,
I’m not a foreign C&R rifle type, but I was given this ammo by a buddy who got it from an acquaintance of his. Sounds like an old guy wanting to clear stuff out.

Looks like it’s an armor piercing round in 7.9 Mauser?

Worth anything?

Demill and sell the scrap brass?

Any advice is welcomed. Thanks

Well its 8mm (7.92x57mm) and according to my "google-fu", the green tip is pre WWII AP. No clue if its collectable or not.

8mm Mauser AP, the primers are all likely dead. I've had FN 30-06 from the late 50's that the primers were mostly duds and this stuff is 1940. The bullets and powder can be loaded into a newly primed case and you're ready to go again.

I would pull the bullets and keep them. The rest I would toss.

Kinda crusty looking, would not trust those primers or old brittle brass.

I would agree pull bullets for reloading.

If the powder looks OK ( not degraded ) save it and re use reducing charge a couple grs.

FN makes good ammo but that stuff has seen better days.
