About a year ago I went into a LGS that I don't get to very often and found a .22 LR target rifle. I really wanted it but had other stuff that I needed to get so I pasted on it.  I know that Remingto, Winchester, and BSA made some, maybe High Standard. What are some of the make and models of

.22 LR bolt action target rifles?

Shoot I have a bunch at my folks house I can't remember off the top of my head.

Winchester model 72 and 52 for sure.

Remington 40x

Marlin 39A

Anschutz, Walther and Hammerelli all had some as well.

Don't overlook the Remington 513T.  Its not their top of the line 40X stuff, more like entry level,  but still a good rifle with ammo it likes.

My old M52B Winchester is the most accurate .22 I've ever had/shot.

When my father-in-law would suggest a .22 range session he'd tell me to leave the M52B at home.  He hated shooting against that rifle.  He was one of those guys who would shoot acorns off the oak trees behind his house, shoot honey bees off the clover, head shoot squirrels with his deer rifle.  But he knew that M52B would help me outshoot him and his Browning .22.

The Winchester Model 69A is sometimes referred to as "the poor man's Model 52" as the 69A accuracy is quite good at a much lower price.  My dad bought a 69A when I was a kid.  I inherited it, and gave it to my son who still hunts with it.

Marlin 81 DL with aperture sights. Beautiful examples of old time materials and craftsmanship. Pre-1953 come with ballard style rifling, micro-grove thereafter.
