I have a Sig MCX Virtus with 11.5” .300BO and 5.56 barrels and need the correct Sig QD Taperlock QD Mount for them. I have a Sig 7.62 QD suppressor already.

I believe they make the mounts in like 1/2x28 thread or something and then another size.

What two sizes do I need for these two barrels?

This is what you need:

https://www.sigsauer.com/store/srd762-qd-taper-lok-muzzle-brake-1-2-x-28-tpi.html

https://www.sigsauer.com/store/srd762-qd-taper-lok-muzzle-brake-5-8-x-24-tpi.html

These are the brakes, you can get the exact same thing as a flash hider also and it will work the same way.

Thanks.

So, I need a 1/2 X 28 TPI and a 5/8 X 24 TPI?

Correct, in the 762 model. It can be confusing because there is also a 556 can specific 1/2x28 tpi so just make sure it's the right one.

Thanks! I had an issue with a previous mount but that was resolved with a different mount.

Another quick question. Which one is for which caliber?

Is the 1/2 X 28 TPI for the .300 BO and  5/8 X 24 TPI for the 5.56?

1/2x28 is for 556 and 5/8x24 is for 300blk.
