Ordered 1k primers and a pound of N110. I doubt it will work for 300 BLK subs but I’m going to try as another member said it was quieter than N120. Something tells me I’ll have reliability issues judging by charge weights but worth the try I guess.

Ended up loading several thousand 9mm filling up at least 8 full ammo cans over the summer and switched that particular press to start an easy .45 load, 5gr of Bullseye over 230gr fmj.
Tonight I am swaging a Quickcrete bucket of .223 to add to the size and trim bucket and will load a couple hundred of .45 |

Tested my 9mm bunny fart loads through my CZ Shadow 2. I think I can safely go lower than 3.6 gr of Titegroup under the Berry 124 gr RN. Loaded a run of 150 or so at 3.6 anyways
Zeroed my 300 BLK hand loads for thermal and laser. Scrounged some 5.56 cases and some 300 BLK cases from the private range and tossed them into the tumbler. Used one of my hand loaded 300 BLK rounds (123 gr .310 Gold Dot sized down to .309 over H110) to kill a hog that night. Attached File Today, I plan on grabbing a short chunk of 2x12 and some felt “feet” to make a station for the extra powder drop I had to move to make room for the Dillon. I’ll probably churn out another hundred or so 9mm. |

Just processed a bunch of .30-30 cases. After sizing, about one in 20 were just a touch over SAAMI max length, so I set up my trimmer and went through the whole batch, then chamfered and reamed.
I already stuffed them with 170gr Sierra JFP over 29.5 gr 4064 and then some 150gr Sierra JFP over 31.0 gr of 4064. I have a handful of slugs left, so I had to put another batch of brass in the tumbler. All these were minimum loads because I am getting rid of some large magnum primers that I got in a trade deal in some unknown year. Relaxing with some sweet tea right now. |

Currently loading .45 on a 550 and have for years on this particular press. About every 6th case hung up on the downstroke in #1(sizing and decapping) taking more effort than I have ever had to use. In fact, it was a sudden stop and with frustration I would muscle the round up, I checked and measured case mouths over and over and diameter over and over and wondered if it was the die itself. It finally hit me, the decapping pin was bent.
Took me a bit to figure out and felt like a dumbass when I did. |

After sorting a 5 gallon bucket of brass, I cleaned all of the .30-30. The lot I sized last night before the debate had around 90% over SAAMI max and they all got trimmed, reamed, and deburred. I will stuff them with 170gr Sierra JFP tonight and plan to test a few lever guns this weekend, that have new sights on them.

The ziplock bag is the .38 S&W blank launch cartridges, none of the rounds have them installed since the ATF ruled that when installed they cannot be legally transported. ETA: I did grab another lb of Tite Group out of my stash and then panicked since there were only 4lbs left, but then I found the 8lb jug too. I'm going to load some minor PF 9mm 147 ammo tonight. View Quote How many bags of Cheetos did you have to go through to fill those projos? I’ve been slowly catching up since I was sick, and haven’t been able to do much hobby-wise until recently. So basically I’ve just settled on three loads (3 different powders) for .380 to load up, and I’ve set out the bullets and brass to load. I’m going to see which powder I like best for all three of my pistols (TCP, Bodyguard and G42), then I’ll load a big batch of them. |

Had a friend come over to sight in a few rifles.
1 of his 30-06 shot about 2" at 100 with the factory 180 coreloct bullets. The other shot about 6" groups with the same ammo.... So we went to the reloading bench and did a load work up with 200 gr sierra game kings and got his rifle to shoot about 2" groups without much tuning. I told him we could probably get the group below an inch if he had more time to work on OAL and tune the load some more. He was happy and is ready for elk season. |

In the last month I bought and set up a Hornady LnL AP. I have been learning ( and breaking ) things about the press. Today I loaded about 400 rounds of 556 that went straight to mags.
Once I learn the press well enough I will look into getting a bullet and case feeder set up. |
