Ah ha!  So that's why they were out of stock when I checked!

I'm finishing up on a project that I hope to post details on later today.

And no matter how often I check, my Dillon orders aren't getting here any faster.

When I broke the sale link in my TEAM thread Jeff had over 300k of those... he still has alot of LPP...

Anyway, today I ordered 4 lbs of LS and 5 lbs of AA TCM from Powder Valley. Almost got some StaBall 6.5... maybe get some with TrumpBux 2.0. We'll see.

Received my large primer conversion for the 650 from Grafs so I can set up both presses at the same time for large primers.  I already had two small primer conversions and only one large.  This wasn't an issue, until it was.

Gonna spin up some .44 Mag loads for my hand cannon and carbine tonight.   240gr JSP over something.  It will make for an interesting day at the range this weekend.

Scored 6# of 8208 and 1250 Sierra 6.5mm projectiles from a reloader's estate sale. Wish I had gotten there earlier for primers though.

Reloading my first rounds this weekend.

Hope that trimmer is treating you nice

Trimmed approx 1000 .223 cases in less than an hour tonight and still had shop time to load 50 cases of 300 Win Mag.
Went from a Little Crow WFT 2 to 17 cases a minute. Paying forward my WFT 2 to a Firefighter buddy that spends his days on a single press and hand trimmer. Thank you again.

I was loading some tired 7.62x39mm brass when I realized just HOW old it was - I counted ten ejector marks on a few of them, and for a few years I only had a bolt action in that caliber, which wouldn't hit it quite so hard. I looked at buying some, and $27 for 50 seemed a bit stiff.  But my handloads are working well in the BREN 2 MS pistol, so I'm happy. Loaded another 50 of the 123gr Spire Points last night.

Loaded up some 9mm with Power Pistol and 115 gr RMR bullets.  Went to the range and tested them.  Mid-range charge weight shot pretty well so I’ll load up some more.

Ran drills with .380 reloads using 95 gr RMR bullets while at the range.   Realized I was down to only 250 .380 hand-loads left, so I placed an order with RMR for 2000 more 95 gr projectiles.  I hope I don’t have an 8 week delay.

Spent the day swearing at my Dillon 550.  This thing will not pick up a small primer.   I was going to load some 454 Casull.  I spent lots of time researching this issue, reading, adjusting, getting perplexed and calling Dillon.
Looking back I never have had any luck with this unit and small primers.   If I torque the screws too tightly on the primer mechanism the primer slide will not retract, if I loosen it, the slide wobbles and will not line up with the shellholder.

Buddy picked me up at 0800 to go to the police range to pick up brass. We picked up 2  tall quickcrete buckets of 223, 45, 38, 9mm brass and left a ton for later this week.
Found 2k srp at the local farm implement store and heading out to finish trimming and do some sorting.

Sorted through brass from the last 4 range trips. Need to get better at that.

But at lest I keep the bags separated so the were only a few that had .380 in them. Such a pain to sort from 9mm.

I'm jealous...

I got an "update" on my Dillon order...  FedEx said "barcode label unreadable and replaced" on Thursday.  Yesterday some time they updated the scheduled delivery date from today to tomorrow.  Since I worked today, I didn't get updates until I got home.

So far the Amazon order, for the actual Dillon caliber conversion, is on target for its original delivery date, which is tomorrow too.  I have my fingers crossed on that.

Loaded up 500 10mm practice rounds for my Banshee 300 Mk10 10mm PCC.

8.5 gr Longshot
CCI #300
FC once fired brass
180 gr pulled FMJ
1.255" COAL

Should leave the barrel around 1300 FPS, a pretty mild carbine load, leaving the brass intact. 31k PSI (or less) according to Hodgdon's data for 180 gr JHP.

Unfortunately I won't have access to a range I can deploy a chrony at until next weekend, but I want to get some trigger time in, so am using the starter load for some practice rounds.

Organized and labeled some reloads.  Using the same size/brand of box makes stacking easier, and with labels I don’t have to dig through a shelf full of reload storage boxes to find the ones I want.

Loaded some more 9mm with 115s and PP.  I’m not sure if this is “the load” for my range use.  I’m going to load a charge ladder of True Blue to test it for 115s.  Discovered I was out of resized 9mm, so I’ll be spending some time resizing clean 9mm brass.

Shot 200 rounds of 10mm I loaded last night at the indoor pistol range. Minor case bulging by the banshee at 8.5 gr of longshot, easy to shoot and accurate. FC brass is reusable and I managed to recover most of it.

Figured out (I think) that the little wobble I had in my American 8 turret is caused by the sleeve that goes around the main turret bolt being a few thou longer than the turret is thick.  Taking it in to work tomorrow to mill off .007" which should eliminate the slight tilt I get when at full stroke.

Picked up 1k Match LPM and 1k Regular LPM Federal primers from Sportsmans Warehouse a couple days ago to feed my 500 JRH.  Trying to save what I have left of CCI 350's for the 458 socom since there is less of a worry of slam fire with those.

Got a sewing light for the American 8 as well.  Nice alternative to the dedicated press lights since I can move it anywhere with the flexible stem and a magnetic base.  $13 on amazon.

Now that I have shelves...as crude as they are...in the Wrightline media cabinet, I finally have an organized spot for my “library” :

I realized tonight my goof in plowing (aka ploughing) dadoes across that 2X12 and the ripping it down into 2X3’s...

There isn’t enough adjustability in the shelf heights.

I should have plowed grooves down some 2X4’s so they would accept regular shelf standards and their “clips” :

Oh...welll... ya live and ya learn.

Finally got my workbench up in the reloading room. It won’t all fit in a non fisheye pic so that’s a good sign.

Wanted it to be free float. Each brace can hold at least 190 lbs. I lifted myself up on each one as a test.

Still some sanding to do, but after that I’ll call it good. I’m by no means a woodworker so it’s definitely a functional bench, and not much more. Size is 2’ deep by 16’ 5” long.

Really love this thread.

Stamped out another 250 subsonic rnds for my .40’s (200gr fmj’s)

Done with that for now, found some 155gr HST’s that need an emotional boost and place to lay their heads.  ‘Bout a K; gonna stuff ‘em and feed my rifles for a while.

Both my Amazon (caliber conversion kit) and Dillon (other parts) shipments arrived yesterday, but too late for me to mess with them.

I got a .223 conversion kit, a “C” powder funnel for 300 Blackout, and a “380 white” case feed adapter, along with another empty toolhead and two powder measure dies.  I have to decide which of those calibers I want to set up the toolhead for.  I have all the parts to run all three, but I don’t know which direction to go yet.

And since the toolheads are crucial, I’m not planning on spending another $25 for a Dillon stand for each one...  So I have some figuring to do.

Shot some 223 Contender loads I loaded up this morning.

Remembered why I hate IMR4198... Even with the straw mod, the Chargemaster overthrew 50% of the charges.

Load was accurate though. May try another powder that doesn't suck so much.

Finished loading test charges of  9mm with RMR 115 FMJ and True Blue.

Ran a batch of  9mm and then a batch of various large bore, straight wall range pickup brass through the tumbler.  When I finally own a .44 mag or a .45-70 my brass stockpile will already be started

Received a package from Midsouth, including IMR 4895 and 158 gr .357 JSP bullets.  Worked on setting up to make test loads of 158 gr pistol bullets with reduced powder charges in .35 Whelen.

Checked and trimmed 100 once fired 5.56 cases.  Found one that measured 1.77 the rest were within spec, I trimmed everything back to 1.75.  The long case was a L/C once fired with a four way primer crimp.  It was brought up in another thread I was nuts not to trim everything.  At 1.75 I ended up cutting about 50% of the cases the rest were under that length.
