I wrote an email back in June to RQE inquiring as to the status of any seconds or remanufactured units available. I heard back from a guy named Bob, but he didn't want to come to dinner. I was heartbroken he stood me up since I spent all afternoon carefully shaving my body. Fast forward to December and I get this email!



Needless to say I was excited. When I opened the package I was surprised at ALL THE EXTRAS. An OSS clip set, an RQE Skull Spoon (NEAT!), and a laser printed PMAG with the UNV logo and a picture of the great State of Texas.



Who could have thought a simple email would lead to such swag? Many gifts! Wow! So I thought about a good way to say thank you so I took some promo shots that they hopefully can use to advertise with. Now, I'm not a pro by any means but I think I did some justice here tonight.







So then I thought you know sex sells. Who better to sell the best bridge before it's gone for good than me? I put a spoiler alert in case you were at work and didn't want such pixels to be viewed by anyone but yourself. Don't worry, it's our little secret.

What units do you have in the bridge? Not familiar with those

Mine, modded. MUM interface, I'm sure at one point ATN or Armasight used this model. popped the IR light out, replaced with a honeywell trim pot for manual gain. Never could find a cap to put over it. W/ batts 26.6 oz for the two, clips and bridge

I wonder if you could email AB Night vision and see how much they'd want for 2 manual gain knobs (that is if they'd fit), because it looks pretty unfinished with the knob missing.

I need something similar to bino mum interfaces (I am actually using the exact same housings). I didn't even think about demo RQE units, and have just been looking for the now discontinued Armasight Bridge.

This was the cheapest option I could find for setting 2 of the housings like you have up as binos (~$250), but it seems that armasight discontinued it.

Eh GRAMS = LBS or something. It used to bug me, but idgaf anymore. I have a spec sheet and could buy some I guess but eh, a knobs a knob amirite? Those Armasight bridges don't have a positive lockup at all. You'll be wobbling and cursing them for using a shitty spring and lever instead of a simple set screw.

I agree, not ideal, but i want to test it, and wasn't willing to send UNV nude photos.

It's likely the same interface on the Armasight swing arm, which is terrible and doesn't lock tight at all.

Super nice of them, considering I couldn't even get a replacement OSS for my broken one without buying the whole set, even with TNVC running interference for me.

Kinda sucks having a $1500+ bridge setup (which I love!) but can't get a simple replacement piece for...
