Ok, so I managed to find a latest generation Beretta 1301 Tactical with the latest carrier release and screw in chokes..woohoo.

Now, WTH...every single site I've gone to looking for the Nordic Components +2 extension for this puppy is out..nada..nothing...

Anyone know where I can find one?  I'd like to get the full kit that comes with the +2 extension, pic rail, clamp, etc. but at this rate I'll take what I can get and piece together the rest if needed.

Thanks,
Earl

Good luck! Maybe see if Langdon will sell one, I know he has them. The other option is the KZ version it has great ratings, or just put in all the back order notifications you can and jump when you get the email.

Shooter's Connection has the 1301 coupling nut (The 1301 and Benelli Nova use the same magazine coupler)

Get all the other parts from MOA Precision. Their tubes are compatible with Nordic parts. The MOA clamp is a better design than others.

The tube for the 1301 is a special size, I don’t believe it’s their standard +2 tube.

Yeah and that package is OOS everywhere...I'll just have to wait I guess until it's in stock.  Never been a patient person.  Nordic could remedy the problem if they would just let us buy directly from them but their sales model doesn't work that way (only thru distributors).  I'm guessing production has probably been shut down during this virus crap.

Mea Culpa.
I just put it in the cart, and it didn't mention that it was out of stock. Well I learn something everyday.

Yeah tell me about it...last week it showed as in stock so I actually placed an order with them (Optics Planet)...it wasn't until the next day that I got an email, oh wait that will be 6-10 months..I cancelled the order.

I'm on the waiting/email lists at all the usual top shelf places so eventually one will get them in from Nordic...one day...

I did find one hole in the wall place that showed 112 in stock...let me see if I can find who that was...problem is, I've never heard of them and don't trust it since everyone else shows OOS.

Here we are:  Territorial Arms in Arizona.  Anyone ever hear of them, are they reputable?

This.  The standard +2 tube extends slightly past the muzzle.  I ran into this with my Gen 1 1301 Tactical, and had to get the Nordic Comp kit.

Any issue with the standard +2 tube extending past the muzzle other than aesthetics? (No...its not going to get hit with shot, but might pick up a little powder fouling)

Don't hold your breath waiting of Nordic products that are not in their standard lineup of popular items. A guy in the know dropped a hint above about the Nordic business model changes that have come about in the past 2 years.

Thanks for the links guys!  I was going to order from Ballistic because they are cheaper (SWFA is running it on sale too but $130 vs $106) - but Ballistic had a blurb about not shipping for at least 3 weeks.  I've ordered from SWFA many times as they are here in the D/FW area with me and they are always real quick so I went with them since I have to pay tax everywhere these days :(

Looking forward to getting that in and installed.

Optics Planet is notorious for this. I'm not in the business of giving out loans so I avoid them now.

OP, not to derail this excellent thread, but can you post *exactly* what Beretta part number is the "latest generation" 1301 Tactical?
From the Beretta website, it seems like it should be J131T18C -- question is, does that match the box yours came in?

ref:

thanks

AR-Jedi,

That (J131T18C) is the number that is on the J-CODE of the label on my box.

Lol, will do. I didn’t notice their delay on shipping until after I placed the order and they don’t allow you to cancel, otherwise I would have ordered from Lanbo. I’ll expect to see it in a month but maybe I’ll be pleasantly surprised.

Good luck.  I only got lucky because we had a new Scheels that had it's April opening delayed on account of the virus, so when it opened in mid may - it was fully stocked with guns and ammo.  Even then, I got the last one they had.

Got a package from SWFA today, this is what I've been looking for.  Installs pretty easily.  Beretta 1301 Tactical Kit.  After installation capacity increased to 7 2-3/4" shells in the tube and 1 in the chamber.  The tube end cap is flush with the end of the barrel.

Now to get the adapter from Aradis to use the Magpul Mossberg SGA stock next.
