I can't think of any good reason to do that. You have more flexibility with it in the trust.

why bother? If it matters, just remove any other trustees from your trust.

The only reason I could see doing it was if you used a trust that already controlled multiple other items. If it was set up for your NFA firearm(s) only, I'd just remove the other RPs.
