What company makes a scope mount for the FN (SAR 48) that actually locks in place? The TAPCO was no good.

I'd buy the hex wrench screws they sell for it. The flat head screws that came with mine were weak and 2 broke when I installed it.

I went with the ARMS mount and couldn’t be happier.
It’s rock solid and a bit lighter than the DSA.

This.

Just put one on my SLR.

Easy peasy to install. Rock solid. Lots of rail to mount stuff.

This. It's the best I've seen. I really wish their finishing QC was better on mine because it has small, superficial "pin holes" on one side. At least it has a nice finish. But it's the best out there.

I went ARMS as well.. Rock solid and much better looks and fit imo.

I have heard a rumor that the current ones are better than the original ones. mine are the current version

ARMS for me as well. I don't like the exterior bulkiness of the DSAs.

I like the ARMS mounts over the DSA mounts.
These are the only currently available GOOD options

I've used the ARMS and the DSA, both are quality. The ARMS doesn't damage the finish on your receiver. If you use the DSA it will scrape the outside top of your upper receiver where it overlaps.

Wow, nice looking mount if overpriced. Internally it looks very similar to a DSA. Looks like it mounts exactly like the DSA and would take the DSA Para Guide rod also.

My DSA extended scope mount holds zero perfectly and lines up to my DSA hand guard.  What more could you ask for?
