Hello all,

So I have decided to finally cut down a beater barrel as short as I can go on my m1s90.  In the process I realized, I would like to put a standoff on it too.  The gun is already an SBS, and originally I was going to add the same standoff that my 870 breacher has, unfortunately, it is a 7/8" thread, and I will not have the barrel diameter for that.  So now I am looking at the tromix shark.  The shark is setup for saiga dimensions, with a m22x0.75 thread.  I have two questions...

1) My barrel measures 0.859" in diameter at the location I am going to chop it, that means 21.8166mm, and unfortunately the minimum major diameter for this thread pitch is 21.838mm.  Since this is not going to carry a tremendous load, do you think I can get away with the slight thinness?

2) Any recommendations on who can do a nice chop and thread for me?

Thanks in advance.
