I have a 20% off coupon for Highcom these ones look like a good fit for me.

Any input guys? Will likely be my only set for quite awhile. Going in a Banshee.

Highly recommended, one of the go-to, good-to-do budget options for a level IV ceramic plate.

It's a single curve Al2O3 plate. It's not much diff rent from so many other plates of similar style. I generally recommend that if you're only going to have one set of plates it should be ceramic level III plates. It will be a bit more expensive for good triple curve or sapi size plates, but it's a lot lighter weight, stops almost every likley threat, and is rated for 6 hits of M80 instead of 1 M2 round.

Which Banshee? I have a set of those - 10x12, multi curve, shooters cut in my original Banshee. You won't be disappointed.

Its the original,  I just went with single curve this time hope they work out. I've had triple curve UHWMPE and single curve AR500 before the singles worked fine.

ETA: I just emailed to ask to upgrade the front plate to triplecurve. The back can be left single.  Will take it to $275 shipped for the pair.

I recently bought some highcom 4S17m plates. Besides cut shape what is difference between them and the 4SAS7? I might pickup a second set at some point and wanted to know.

They're available in multicurve/SAPI cuts.  It's a heavy plate, but the lighter level III plates are more expensive.

Highcom is GTG, and that is a go to budget plate.  If the weight isn't an issue, go for it.

Appears 5 year warranty on 4SAS7, 10 year warranty on 4S17M.  Weights are the same, both level IV.

It's just a little heavy but that is an amazing plate.  I recommend them regularly for people that want Level IV.

Awesome thanks guys.  I watched both of your guys' videos on them but figured I'd ask. I'll update when they come in.

I may buy a L3+ AR500 LW to replace the ceramics if one of them ends up getting shot a few times down the road.

Will Level 4 plates like these stop M855A1?

Easily.  Multiple times if you space them out.

Highcom is GTG.  I have a pair of their 3S9M.  I just received them a few weeks ago and put them in my PC.  Haven't done anything with them.
