I currently carry a rat 3 on my drop holster, depending on what Im doing at work. I switch it out with a bk 16, which really fits my hand better and has been a very useful knife. i might get the extended scales on the rat to see if it makes a difference.
I have a sog folder or something on me in my pocket that i will lose or loan out anyway and a neck knife. I probably use the neck knife the most out of habit. I might stick an architect field buddy on my drop holster, i need to put black scales on it so it doesn't stand out too much, I like the 5.5 inch blade. |

Kershaw assisted opening, forget what it's called.
Leatherman supertool 3000 and SOG multitool on belt. I'm trying to get into carrying a fixed blade. |

Spyderco manix 2 Sometimes carry this fixed blade. It hangs horizontally on my belt on my front. Attached File |

I don't get it..
All these knives look like they were just taken out of the box. Do people really spend hundreds on a knife just to open the plastic bags in the kitchen? Is it like some trendy accessory to just pull out and show your friends? I use my knife at least 10 times a day, every day. Kershaw Cryo a classic Rick Hinderer design. 3 years old and still going strong. My buck 110 lives in the tackle box now ever since I started using this. |

I carry a cheap OTF with a dagger blade.
I got it as a conversation piece but Hell, it's actually useful and it's been trouble free for the 3 years I've had it. |

Quoted: How do you like their folder. I have a few of Skallywag fixed blades and have looked at the Blackwater View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Scallywag Blackwater Folder How do you like their folder. I have a few of Skallywag fixed blades and have looked at the Blackwater I really like it a lot! Holds its edge well so far, weight is solid without being heavy, grip is good, and it rides low enough in the pocket that it's not obvious. Action is still nice and smooth after probably 1K or so actuations and locks up tight. I wouldn't mind the blade being a little longer but it's not a big gripe. Attached File With my Cold Steel Recon 1 that was my EDC knife 2012-2020 (replaced by Blackwater). I was actually going to get a Spartan Harsey, but I saw the Blackwater and the look just spoke to me. |

Spiderco Police. Gunkoted it some 30 years ago and it's worn off at the edges. It's an early version and I dremeled a dip in the unlocking tab. They make them that way now.

I carry both... Folder is a Chris Reeve Inkosi with Micarta inlay as well as a Victorinox Tinker. The fixed blade rotates between a few. Usually an ESEE Izula or Candiru, although recently I have been carrying a Work Tuff Gear Klapatchi.
My situation may be somewhat unique, I work from home and we also have a small farm, so I really prefer to carry a small fixed blade all the time. |
|
[#22]
Both.
Folder is an old Klein coping and fixed is am ESEE Izula. Carry every day |

Since I wear a suit 6-7 days a week typically it’s a utility style knife. Benchmade Proper, ZT 230, Para 3 with the clip removed. Once I’m out of a suit, small utility folder in pocket and an auto clipped strong side front pocket.

[#25]
Most of the time I carry a Benchmade OD Griptilian with a sheep’s foot combo blade that I bought about seven years ago. Other times I carry a Benchmade Mini-Barrage 585 with plain blade.

Both. Cold steel safemaker weak side. Cold steel recon in front strong side pocket.

Boker 74 auto in my right front pocket. Victorinox Spirit X in a Clip n Carry holster on belt.

Usually a black DLC Spyderco Endura 4, along with a SAK Tinker.
Sometimes I carry the Spyderco Street Bowie my son got me for Christmas a year ago, with the SAK. I have a lot of knives, so I “golf bag” a few of them into an EDC rotation now and again. I carried a Colonial Barlow with the Spyderco Endura 4 today, and will probably carry that combination for a few days until I decide to switch things up again. Variety is fun. |

Gerber auto folder with serrations. Whichever is on sale at menards when I need a new one. Go through a couple a year as I tear them up at work. Planning on sending about 15 in to Gerber for warranty soon.
