I'm just curious what everyone that carries, knife-wise what they carry.
Do you carry a: Folder Fixed Blade or something other? I carry a small Gerber folder that you can get from Walmart for under 30.00 or one that looks almost the same as it, but has a S&W logo on it. I rotate and keep a spare. I do like fixed blades, but feel it would be bit much for the office and wearing around town. I mean I don't really care what others think, I just don't like drawing attention to any guns or knives that I carry. |

almost every single day and barely notice it for some reason. It's an Abe and Moe Goodman. |
Day to day it's a microtech ultratech, backed up by a Leatherman wave. On the weekends, quite often it's a small fixed blade and the wave.

Benchmade 940 (I know there are Benchmade haters on Arfcom these days, but get over it!)

Gerber 06 Auto
The one made in the USA, not the overseas version. I have fun scaring the Karens and beta males when I pull it out to open a box, etc. Attached File |

I've carried a few different types, from gerber to benchmade. My favorite? Kershaw Select Fire. Blade might not be highest grade, but that is made up for by the screwdriver. I love this thing. And it was only like 30 bucks!

It is a Walmart special 4.95 Ive had it for years now . If I buy a Gerber or something nice I lose it quick ...... I like it . |
Voted other. My edc has been a Microtech utx80 for about two years.

Benchmade Griptilian- found it in some overalls the previous owner left in the basement. Free Benchmade is best Benchmade

A couple of years back there was a guy at the local gun show with a whole bucket of Kershaw folders-- someone had drilled the clip holes wrong and the clip is on backwards. Doesn't bother me, and it was only five bucks-- many times have I wished I had bought the whole bucket. It's one of the best pocket knives I can remember owning.

Multiple -
CRKT M16 Boker AK Kershaw Ken Onion and apparently a ZT clone, since according to a knife buddy ZT doesn't make non-assist opening knives. EDIT: Forgot the Hogue EX-01 |
I rotate because I like knives and don't want to stick to one.
Here's the general rotation: Kershaw Launch 1; side button auto Lightning OTF Bokker Klashnikov; side button auto Kershaw Blackout Folder Kerber folding boxcutter Cold Steel Super Edge (micro fixed blade on a neck string) Cold Steel Tuff Lite (folder, like a box cutter) Titan OTF (cheap chinese junk) If I am at home or in my car I have a Mora somewhere nearby plus whatever I have been playing with, maybe a bayonet or machete. Mostly fixed blades. |
Böker Kalashnikov XXL. Because it's big and automatic.
Only comment I have received when whipping it out and using it was from a Trump supporting, conservative. "Isn't that a bit excessive?" "No, it's 'Mericuh" and then he chuckled. |

I allways have a Gerber EAB on me. I love those things. I never have to worry about ruining a good knife by cutting something awfull and when it gets dull.....just put a new razor in it and it's small.
I also carry a Fallkniven F1 regularly. I've allways loved good fixed blades for normal tasks. |
Most of the time I pocket carry my s&w mod 36 so there's no room for my knife in my right pocket
I carry a wave+ on my belt for a knife now |
Spyderco PM2 everywhere but work.
Spyderco Dragonfly at work |
Folder, just a cheap freebie IDPA sent me for being a member one year.
Spyderco something para military II. It's dull as hell right now. Better address that

ZT 0562 today. Really like my Spyderco Para 3 and hate to admit I have a Bugout I like a lot as well.
I've carried a Spyderco Meerkat since 2002. I love the phantom lock.
I always carry this for when it might be needed
Attached File an then a utilitarian knife, like a delica, or a griptilian for boxes and such. |
Just a folder. Not really meant for fighting/defense. Just utility/basic tasks.
Either a Kershaw Blur or Kershaw Blackout. |
Been carrying a Boker Kalashnikov auto for the last 4 years or so.
Its pretty beat up but still opens and locks up great. Just the right size for me, really fits my hand. Attached File |
