The guy in charge was the owner of the rigging company, about 70 years old and still had all his fingers. He said his secret was he always planned a move about one foot at a time, then stop, evaluate, and plan the next move. He had his two sons working with him and they both had all ten fingers as well. That a good sign in the rigging business...

He said the week before they moved a 35 ton industrial press out of an old machine shop with a double door, and loaded it into freight container to ship overseas, so mine was easy...

That's crazy weight, but super creative... shows the years of experience. Was the garage where you bolted it down? or did you move it into the house?

My STURDY safe arrived! No clue as to how to get a picture on here.
Anyway, this thing is a beast! 36x27x60 fire lined. Must say this thing is a heavyweight work of art. I'm very impressed and pleased with the entire process and product.
Big thanks to Sturdy for making an excellent affordable product.

Nothing too special... Just a RF6528 TL30 I picked up at a real estate auction for $1500.  Cost me another $700 to get it moved 50mi.  Still a bargain.  I added a new old stock Kaba Mas x-07 group 1F electromechanical lock, some touch up paint and she's gtg.

Btw the shelves were bowed (now flipped) due to the weight of the gold the previous owner stored.  Close to a mil worth he said.

If I ever come into a heap of money I would have to post in the gun room pic thread. The biggest thing I hate about safes is you have to "layer guns in there". I hate having to pull out the front guns to get to the ones in the back.

My new Secureit Answer 12 with a DIY light kit pieced together off of Amazon. I had been looking for a safe for quite some time and always hated the idea of having to somehow make my collection of mostly carbines and SBRs work with the interior of a traditional gun safe. When I came across type of storage idea I was sold. Big enough to hold what I need it to but at 18” deep and less than 400lbs, easily fits in my bedroom closet in my condo.

I have the same safe (Liberty Revolution 24).  Fits my needs.  I added a golden rod and led lights with motion switch all powered off an outside outlet. Pretty easy to do and highly suggest.

Added a few more items (still plenty of space left!) and made a modification to the top shelf to allow it to hold a LOT more weight.  FWIW, I really like the rifle rods and the handgun hangers.

So I sorta Upgrayyyeded this weekend. Was running out of room in my small Winchester 24 gun safe. Tractor supply had a decent deal on a Liberty Revere (yea I know it's mostly likely chinese made) plus they only had the floor model, that had a pretty decent scratch on the left front, so they knocked off another $150. With the way it sits in the room, the scratch isn't really noticeable until you get up on it. Nice thing is it came with a light kit, but there is no way you can get 72 guns in there, not that I have that problem. Need to pretty up where the light power cord comes in, or just buy the plug thing from liberty sometime. Not sure if I have the middle column in right as you can see all the staples. Will have to look at the other side sometime.

This is all the lights off in the room.

It's an 80-gun Cannon model CS5950. I believe the only places that sell this model are Costco and Tractor Supply Co.

External Dimensions: 50 in. W x 28 in. L x 59 in. H
Weight: 840lbs empty
Cubic Ft: 47.8

https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/product/cannon-super-wide-body-80-gun-fire-safe

While it's not a Graffunder, it's inside a hardened room, positioned in a way that you can't tip it over (and given the weight of the safe, especially with everything in it - highly unlikely), I like the safe once I pulled out all the internal shelves and went to rifle rods and handgun hangers.  I also put some rubberized mat over the flooring that I cut to fit, put in lighting and reinforced the horizontal shelf on top so that it could support any amount of weight on it without bowing now.

The downside is that anytime I want a gun in the back, I have to play Tetris again to get them back in, and they never seem to fit back in the same way:
