Looks great!  Do you have any issues with suppressor clearance?

I've had a long RPM rail on order now for about 8 weeks (was suppose to ship 7 weeks ago ).  I also snagged an OEM 14.5" barrel that I was considering having chopped to 12.5".  Your pics may just motivate me to send the barrel out.

Cheers

Thanks, my only current suppressor is a direct thread, so no issues with clearance. I always planned on buying a 10.5 barrel when they finally hit the market, but I feel like this is the perfect balance.

I picked up a 12.5" barrel from a fellow board member and i'm diggin' it with the OEM handguard.  I have a long M-lok RPM handguard on order which should make a nice set-up.

I finally got some pictures of my ACR and it's friends!

I've have on it:
Magpul MBUS Pro LR sights
RPM long coyote M-lok handguard
Magpul FDE M-lok angled foregrip
Magpul M-lok QD sling mount
Sterling Hess's rear QD sling mount
Magpul coyote MS4 sling
Haley Strategic Thorntail SBR light mount
Surefire 6PX Defender
and that's the new MCT color gen M3 Pmag, which is a much closer match to the ACR's coyote brown than the old FDE.

I'm planning on getting a TA31RCO-M4CP when I can afford it, and I have a factory 14.5" barrel kit on order and being pinned and welded. I'm also still hunting for a tan Surefire M600 scout (why did Surefire stop making them?!).

A trio of shorties. Since this was taken I swapped the Saker for a SOCOM-MINI on the ARX, it balances much better. The ACR has the best ergonomics of the three by a country mile, but is a heavy mofo.

I had a neat idea for the engraving on mine:

It hides under the T1 mount so it looks like a factory SBR (yes, this is legal to do).

I like that engraving.  And that's a good looking trio of shorties.

Thanks. The ARX is engraved the same way, but actually on the handguard rail under the forend, since that's the only rail on the gun that's on the same part as the serial number.

Thanks!  I may not be able to lift it if I add a PEQ and M300!

Updated version!

Pin/weld 14.5" factory barrel with an AAC 51T FH, RPM shorty handguard, and a 2.5x PA ACSS optic.  Considering swapping the 2.5x for one of the ACSS micro dots.

The RPM handguard is magic.  I can't believe how light it is, and in combination with the 14.5" barrel, the rifle handles completely different.  Huge upgrade.

Finally got my ACR setup how I want with a 14.5" barrel and ACOG (TA31RCO-M4CP). First range trip with it and getting good groups with M855. Only thing now is to get the BFSIII for the ACR when it comes out.

Oh, and a RemDef (formerly) FA lower.

Thanks guys!  Here’s the list of what was done.

Bushmaster Acr Enhanced

Upper
HKbelfed aluminum trunnion
Templar Lightened rails
Templar Folding Charging handle
Remington V2 rail with no inserts
V2 deflector
Templar Lightweight Bolt, Nitrided by Mod 1

Barrel
AAC 9” 300blk barrel
Sig MCX 300blk Flash hider
Templar Aluminum barrel nut

Lower
Templar prototype lower.
Geissele SSA-E
Apwr aluminum qd mount

For the pic I used a factory plastic safety, I generally use a Templar Bad safety set

It usually has a 10.0” 5.56 barrel in it.  It weighs 6 pounds 6 ounces like that.  With a surefire m300, T1, and m4-2000 it weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces.

Picked up one of those 18.5” 1-7 barrels for $90 and had it cut to 14.1, just got it back today. I just pinned and welded the surefire on. I’m in love with it again, it’s so much more balanced now. Feels really good suppressed. I want to throw it on the lathe and profile the front down but don’t feel like refinishing the barrel till it gets a little warmer out. I’m pretty happy for $175 with my old barrels piston parts. I need to refinish the scope mount too, it’s kind of obnoxious colored.

bought this one back in 2011.  I played with it for a few months,  put the AimPoint sight on it.  Never warmed up to the ACR though.  It sits in the back of the safe, unused now for probably the last 6 years.
