A LOT of us have many eForms in the queue.  I have a half-dozen stretching from March to July, and I had one approved 2 weeks ago.  Had they cross referenced my SSN or LLC name, or just my eForm account - they'd see that I had 6 more I already submitted and could have batch approved those with a cursory review for accuracy and completeness.  Instead, they treat ALL of them as separate forms and do everyone a disservice with a huge waste of time.

They'd still need to validate all the submissions.  Not sure what that actually entails.

I guess I should take solace in that the 5320.20s I submitted yesterday will probably get back to me before my suppressor is approved.

Hey Sean,

The forms get divided up between myself and the others on the Eform 1 team. Each examiner works at their own speed so its possible another examiner got assigned your other form and they haven’t got to it yet. Whats your other control number?

That tells me there is little oversight or supervision so you end up with some examiners who do a good job and a majority that are mediocre

guess that makes sense why my First F1 submitted 6-20-2022 approved 6-29-2022---9 days

second F1 submitted 7-16-2022 approved --pending

third F1 submitted 8-1-2022 approved ---- pending

so the first one is 9 days but the second one is still pending after 25 days makes a whole lot of sense.

You create the internal control number. That's what I did so I knew which forms went to which guns. I forgot on the 1st one, but didn't on the next 2.

I've passed day 120 for me e-form4 suppressor. I'm ok with waiting, except I'm closing on a house in 3 weeks. I now have to decide on putting off my move, or going to the back of the line again.

At least I can stay in my current place until Jan.

My Efile Form4 (Trust) came back disapproved at 170 days.
Reason:
My FFL transposed 2 numbers for my address on the RPQ form.
I have 4 more Form4's in cue with the same mistake.

Could someone please tell me how they corrected an Efile?
How do you get the examiners email?
My best guess for the examiner signature is
Heather Rjaske

I, like most of everyone here I believe, keep records of approval times. In my experience, using eForm 4s in January 2022 resulted in quick approval times (89-109 days) for me, but that has now ballooned out. Putting today's date (8/17) for the eForm 4s submitted in March 16 results in a 154 day approval period. My guess is those are approved inside 180 days (fingers crossed).

On the flip side, eForm 1 approval times, while volatile, have stayed <60 days generally (quickest being 23 days and the longest being 127 days).

Yeah, but the drive. I hate driving!

New place is a nice house in the woods just outside city limits, so I may just air-bnb the place until I get my can. I don't need to move right now, I just want too. Besides, without the can my wife will likely object to me shooting off the back deck of the new place anyway, so what's the point?

All I know is the further this gets for me, the more the average days moves back. I’m at about 162 days now. 3 weeks ago, that would have been the outside number. Now, it’s just the earliest approval time. Seems like they’ll keep moving it back and I’ll never get approved. What a mess…

That's why you buy a new one every time you go to pick up an approved one.  Your body just learns to tune out the low level chronic pain.

no you buy a new one every week or month so you have consistent approvals coming in

I've noticed that over the past couple months, I've stopped getting email notifications of approvals.  They used to go into my spam folder by default, but now, they don't arrive at all.  I've had to check every couple weeks and the last 3 approvals, I've only known about after logging into eForms and seeing approvals that are 3-5 days old.

Anyone else not getting emails from them upon approval?

No I got my latest approval email on 8/19.  Possibly check in your email settings to see if they are blocking emails from the the [email protected] email address.

I have been saying “any day know” every day for the past 3 months.

Top two are paper, bottom is eform.

EDIT TO ADD: called ATF today to check the status and after giving her the info the woman ask “have you spoken to you’re examiner yet?”
She transferred my call and I left a voicemail. Not sure what it means but it sounds like it’s finally being looked at.
