Is there any sort of expiration date or age limit of filled out fingerprint cards? If I have the Sheriffs office print out 10 copies can I just keep them on hand to send out as needed?

View Quote That being said, I’ve heard people using FP cards that’s were many years old with no problem at all. I’m not sure I’ve actually seen anybody ever say they were rejected for the date on the card. The easy solution is roll your own, and don’t write a date until needed. Not sure if the Sheriff would print them off without a date, but you could ask. |

Thanks guys. When getting my last cards done the guy doing the prints emphasize I had to have new cards done when I sent them off. Seemed strange..

I'm approaching 340 days. At this rate, I hope it slows down a touch and maybe I'll get batch approved for my summer promo Octane.

I bought my first suppressor on the 4th of July last year, I was just approved two days ago.
My stamp will probably arrive at the dealer around the 4th of July, this year. That's a whole year. This is not exactly motivating me to purchase another one, but I may look at building one and going the F1 route. |
|
|
[#17]
Just called ATF and mine is approved. Check cashed on July 18. Looks like it'll be right at a year by the time I receive my stamp. My free Octane showed up yesterday, so the party started all over again for me today. I think I'm going to buy a .22 suppressor to hopefully get near the same time.

The BATFE cashed my check for the Sandman-S this week so I should be shooting suppressed any day now, right?!?
Seriously though, I'm attempting to convince myself that applying as an individual helps speed things up at least a little because this 11-12 month nonsense is tough to swallow. (I bought a full-auto 25-ish years ago and the wait as an individual was about 3 months) My dealer also runs training courses a few times a year. If he happens to receive the silencer from Silencer Shop before the next course, he says he'll let me try it out that weekend. It's my first can, so hopefully it doesn't suck because that'll take the "fun" out of the long wait after the course. |

Bought an AEM5 from DSG Arms back in 2017. F3 to my dealer was approved 2 april 17, DSG received the approval 3 April and shipped the can. Dealer received it, logged, called me in, we did the paperwork, got everything mailed late may (issues getting with fingerprinter friend).
November 2018 I get the whole packet back in the mail......was "lost" for a fucking year and a half. GOOD FUCKING JOB USPS. Well at least the check was safe. Voided it out and RE accomplished the paperwork, check cashed in February this year and they just told me over the phone they "briefly lost track" of my paperwork. So it'll be 20 fucking 20 before i get the can. Three fucking years. Unfuckingreal. |

I'm not sure that graph is accurate anymore. It hasn't shown a form 4 trust approval in weeks. I logged in my form 4 trust approval the other day, and it is not reflected on that graph.

When you email ask the experts how long does it take for them to get back to you? I was just approved last week on a efile form1. I emailed them Saturday and asked if they can batch approve my other 4 form4s since they just ran me. It’s been five days and no email back.

View Quote We are working forms in the order in which they are received and we are currently working forms received in Aug. of 2018. Unfortunately we are unable to pull these forward out of the processing order. I anticipate we should be getting to the November 2018 application soon. We are processing applications as diligently as possible. Now, I know they can do it, because they have. I also know I’ve seen forms from at least Sep, Oct, and Nov (maybe Dec?) already approved that weren't part of any batch processing. But that’s what they said. The one little useful nugget I did get from the reply was this: Both of the serial numbers you gave also have an approved background check. The two in question have pending dates of Nov ‘18 and May ‘19. So, I shouldn’t be in the BGC black hole...but I was surprised the May one was already cleared. That just means it’s sitting in a box for at least the rest of this year...for somebody to do nothing more than verify SN and FFL info, slap a stamp on it and mail it back. Not even a trust doc to look at because I sent a certification saying it hasn’t changed. |

Does anyone know if Nfatracker.com is accurate at all? According to NFAtracker for paper form 4s from purchase to stamp in hand should be 287 days. From looking at the approved for 4 thread here it appears to be much longer than that.
Any idea what the discrepancy is? |
