I'm looking for inexpensive plinking ammo, is this stuff garbage? Most importantly is it safe?? I don't know if the description is misleading or not. Thanks in advance.

Federal ammo is Lake City over run ammo, sounds like this is just more of the same.
For the price you can't beat it buy a hundred rounds and give it a try. Post back your results on how well the stuff worked. |

Man that is dirt cheap. I would like to hear how it runs. I paid $259 shipped for 80 rounds of Barrett m33 661gr ball.

It appears to be new ammo manufactured inside the same "Lake City" plant. I'm not ready to buy yet but will keep this in mind. |

The ammo came in on Thursday. It was packaged in the plastic 10round boxes. The brass has more tarnish in it than the 100 round belt of new Lake city but looks like good ammo.
Date stamp is 09 |

I bought some of the tracer rounds (100) and they are in pretty bad shape, looks wise. I haven't had a time to look for dents, etc, but the brass is pretty terrible looking.
