I have my eye on a local Winchester Trapper 1894 .45 Colt. Made in 1991, near mint condition. Asking $750 or possible partial trade with cash on my end. I was looking at a Henry in 357 or 45 Colt as I have a wheel gun in each caliber but I can’t get my mind off the Trapper.

Is it worth $750? I see the Henry’s all day at $650-$700

Looks like they are going $850-950 typically so $100 off sure why not get it.

ETA: I have a Henry Big Boy in .357mag and it is a blast to shoot. Just wish it had the loading gate. Would be so much more fun.

The trapper was kind of a limited run. You can get a Marlin or Henry for less, but the Winchesters were nice.

I'm very happy with my 94 Trapper in .45 colt. I put a Skinner aperture sight on it and it will cut the X-ring out of a SR1 target with ten shots at 50 yards. Is a trapper worth $750, I don't know, that is up to you they skyrocketed in price after the New Haven plant closed.
