Controls for me. It's accuracy is plenty fine. The mag release and the huge front end killed the SAR for me. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Does anyone know if Gear head works is still making the TMF handguard? They are all out of stock on their website.

Midwest M-lok rail for the unused charging handle slot (gotta grind down the bolt heads if you use this one). Magpul scout light mount M300C scout light with tape switch popped over to the other side through a hole in my MI MLOK top rail. View Quote |

I took my picatiny rail off and I don't see where the screws would go on the MI rail? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I have a x95 and it has never had a jam using factory or reloaded ammo. Its has a flier issue when doing groups that i think is because of the chassis not being stiff enough. Thats just my opinion on my rifle after putting a scope on it and testing in a lead sled with different pressure points. But its handy and i hit my steel targets just as often as i do with a ar or any other semi auto. I would trust it for shtf but know it has a limit on its use, but hell so does ever other gun in some way. Im not gonna clear a room with a Mosin Nagant.

Have both, plus and minus with each. If I had to pick in stock form I think sar edges out x95

The Manticore Curved pad is a must in my opinion on the SAR...the FAB Podium bipod...is also a must...especially if you are running a magnified optic...
My factory trigger is well worn in now and honestly feels like an ALG ACT with the helper spring removed...doubt I'll spend $300 on a trigger setup. |

I've been meaning to take out the secondary return spring and see how it feels. View Quote I just don't see the benefit on spending money on a trigger for a platform that will never see precious work out of it...just keeping it real. |

My X95 with Aimpoint Micro is my go to rifle...I love this thing.
No time with an SAR so I can't compare, but my Tavor is totally reliable and shoots 2-3 MOA all day, which is as good as I can usually shoot. |

Guys are the rails worth it? I can’t find the Midwest or manticore arms rail for my SARS. Any idea where I can get a black and fde rail?

Another SAR owner. Had three: 16" Blk, 18" FDE, and 18" Blk , at one time. Now happy with just one along with a bunch of spare parts. No- X95 however.

Quoted: Ive owned both, i sold my SAR and later bought an X95, i perfer to have either in 9mm though as they are one of the few affordable 9mm bullpups on the market. One day i may pick up a 9mm SAR just to get the Ratworx can that sits inside the handguard. Also the discontinuation of the SAR pushed me to the X95. View Quote It's really loud. |

Quoted: I shot a SAR once, but I don't like the cutlass. So I got a X95 a couple years later. It is not inaccurate: https://i.imgur.com/lSazzzE.jpg https://i.imgur.com/u9fZgPB.jpg View Quote |
