Income tax.  Yay.   Was thinking a MRO. Never had one.  Aimpoint pro’s in my collection .  If I get a MRO what height mount should I get?  Worth the getting the protective caps with it ?   Thanks for advise and opinions. WarDawg

I dont have firsthand experience, but I know a lot of people have complained about the parallax shift on the MRO. Great for up close, but could be tricky to use at longer range (my brother had trouble making precise shots at 100)

I really like my aim point pros.  Just thought I’d try something different.  Might stick with aimpoint.

Gotta get something tall for mount due to inline stock of Tavor, the rail puts the optic 1/2 too low compared to a AR
Its doable, but you end up pressing your face hard to stock to pick up sight.

For comparison I just put a Aimpoint Pro on my SAR with Midwest Industries riser for Tavor rails...works great
now same feel when you mount the Tavor as with a AR.  Its less than $50 for it

I can't stand the MRO...I've tried 3 so far...first gen, Patrol and second gen...all have TERRIBLE parallax control just like all Trijicon red dots and the glass gets distorted at the edges pretty bad...

Just my 2 cents...the Leupold LCO is terrible as well...

Aimpoint, Holosun are all great...I actually prefer the PA Cyclops 1X over a red dot all day...
