After running the monthly subgun Sunday’s and classes here and there with the MP5 the one thing that always bites me is the sharp edges on the magazines when doing a reload under stress. I used duct tape for a while but found a better solution to keep from cutting yourself up and marking your mags, $12 can of plasti dip (the dip one not the aerosol cans).

Do you have any issues with the plastidip getting inside the guts of the mag?

I used scotch tape to cover the baseplate but it’s so thick I can’t see it getting inside.
