They respond well to email usually.
What kind of problem is he having?

He was trading emails with them, but their customer service person wasn't being any kind of help.
He sent his ruck in a couple years ago for some mods without any problems. This fall while it was in storage, some mice got to it and ate up the lid pretty badly, so he tried to get a hold of the TT custom shop to see if they could fix it (of course with him paying for any and all repairs.) He traded emails with them for a couple weeks only to find out he was talking to their regular customer service person, Taylor Ann, and not the custom shop. She either is incompetent or simply doesn’t know how to do her job. She wouldn't forward any emails to their custom shop and when his emails to the custom shop went completely unanswered, she wouldn’t help him at all, but just said she couldn’t help and would tell him to contact the custom shop. If his ruck wasn’t able to be fixed, he was willing to spend several hundred dollars to get a new pack from them. Either way, he wanted to spend his money there and she wasn’t willing to help him. He said he tried calling, but they never answered the phone or returned his multiple messages.

+1. Sometimes it's better to go to the parachute rigger, or custom sew guys, rather than the mfg.

He would probably go this route if needed, but who knows of any that don’t take months upon months for repairs. After I told him of my experience with EGL, he’s wary of going that route.
