I posted this in the original so....
For that price buy it right now! The bolt is an after thought, the rifle has always run about $5K. Even if the barrel had to be replaced, it's still worth buying. Contact McMillan and ask them about the bolt, at the least you'll need to send the rifle in. That way they can properly headspace a new bolt to the rifles chamber. |

It looks like a McMillan but may be a different model, I thought all TAC-50's were repeaters. You might want to do a Google Search on them to look at the different types of rifles.

I have done the searching. That's why I came here to ask. I really cant find any information about this rifle and thought you guys would know more then I would. I cant even find a picture of a McMillan that looks like this.

The receiver should be marked with the company name (bare minimum) and TAC-50 on it somewhere.
Ask the seller to send you pics of the receiver and any others that you want. That will be the fastest way to figure it out. |
