Hey all, looking for a suppressor cover for my mini 5.56. I currently have a 5.5" Burn Proof Gear cover. I love it, and although I can't find a bunch of info on it, I've heard they can sometimes result in the QD coming loose. Can anyone confirm one way or the other? I've seen some people run an RC2 with a BPG cover on the body of the can, leaving the QD exposed, but BPG doesn't have any standard sizes that would work with the mini, and a custom cover is pretty steep. Thanks for the help.

I use the Bowers rubbish cover on all my rifle cans.  They're like 30-40 bucks for a 10 inch tube, and then you just cut it to fit.  Hunt around and you'll find one if you look by that name.

They stay on well - some movement after a long hot range session, but you just push the cover back down between mags.

Lots of different opinions on them - I like having them as a safety factor against a bad burn.  They still get plenty warm but not so much that an accidental touch will badly burn your skin, or melt something, unlike the bare can.
