I just orders a M4 Colt 14.5" upper assembly from Brownells.
Are the new 14.5" M4 uppers OK with A2 stocks and buffers as is?

If you're asking can I run a 14.5" upper on a lower equipped with an A2 rifle length stock and the correct rifle buffer I'd say yes. I've run any number of various uppers on my RR fitted with a rifle stock & buffer.

That said my current setup is the A5 length RE, RB5007 hydraulic buffer and Tubb flat wire spring, pure joy with a 14.5" upper.
