I have a Chilean M1912-61. Re-barreled in the 60s to 7.62 NATO. It's a fun shooter.

Nice!

Fun little tidbit, when you see a Chilean 1895 mauser for sale always look for a C prefixed serial number of 4000 or less. Those were originally Boer contract rifles that couldn't be delivered, were scrubbed, and included in the Chile contract. Its possible to find one of these that the seller thinks its just another Chilean mauser.
