I'm looking at adding a rifle sight to my Mossberg 590. Is there someone out there that is recommended for doing this?

I used some 'metal' epoxy (link) when I installed a XS front sight recently; per the directions from XS.  General consensus is that these kinds of installs are typically pretty robust.

Used epoxy on an XS sight. JB Weld original. The trick to successful epoxy usage is preparation of the surface and cure time. If you choose to try it,

1. make sure it fits correctly

2. rough up the area so there is a good rough surface to adhere to

3.de-grease all surfaces to be glued

4. allow full time to cure.

On a side, mark position and remark after de-grease so it's centered properly..... this is critical and you may be able to use the factory "bead" hole to get you close. otherwise you will need a method to get it in the right position.
