I chose the Emdom GPS pouch. My Yaesu FT-60 fits inside nicely. Unzip and it flops open for access. Mount on a chest rig and the radio flops out for you to see.

I have some UV5Rs with standard and extended batts. Looking for a pair of carriers. I'd prefer something that protected the radio from rain/snow, though. UV5R is NOT a milspec, water-resistant radio.
