We are VERY close to releasing our first length of handguards for the Sig MPX guns.

These MPX handguards give you enough M-LOK slots to mount all of your accessories and installation is as easy as slide off the old and slide on the new.

what is the outside diameter? Are they thinner and lighter than stock?

That's not the length I was hoping for. MI released the initial MCX version, full length to be exact, why couldn't you have done the same with the MPX's? Oh well, I guess you can't make everyone happy.

ETA: It looks like I was wrong, MI released the 12.5" version first.

Yes gen 1 uses the same handguard. I have a gen1 and hey fit perfect.

MSRP on a 10.5 is $164.95. We have several models at hard coat. It wont be long.

Additionally, I've asked before but I'll ask again here, any word on building forends for the ACR and/or Galil ACE?

These have very little if any fore/aft play on all the guns we have tested.
Galil ACE hand guards are on the web site . Three lengths for all three calibers.
ACR is yet to be decided on. I have to find out if the gun will be around and how many are in circulation . Many distributors no longer carry it.

They are running . They are quite a bit longer than any of the other length so it takes more time. We should have a run of them on the shelves in two weeks max.

I need a little info about lengths on these. Is the Midwest 8" the same length as the gen2 oem hand guard? I am going to send my factory barrel in to get chopped to 4.5 and put a 3 lug adaptor on it. I am looking to mount a Dead Air Ghost on it and want to cover the suppressor 3 lug at minimum. I will be running the Ghost in short config. (6.5") What are my MI hand guard options. Must cover the 3 lug but must be short enough to remove the suppressor. Im thinking 8" and 10.5" are my only options. Any chance someone has a similar set up that can post pics?

The 8.0 inch is the same length as the OEM unit .

So I ordered the MI 8" mpx hand guard. Had my barrel cut to 4 7/8. Didn't want to cut any part of the 9mm NATO marking off of the barrel. With the Dead Air Ghost in short config I may not be able to remove the suppressor with the 3 lug on it. (Factory 8" hand guard) I will post pics once the MI hand guard shows up.

Who knows of a good MLOK offset mount for a Surefire Scout light that will work with these handguards and (most importantly) tuck the light in as close to the handguard as possible?

Just a "feel good" safety that keeps the light from being removed and the T2 tethered to the firearm.

Great looking handgaurd, MI!

A question - my stock carbine length handgaurd has quite a bit of up and down movement making my irons pretty much useless. Does your handgaurd lock up tightly to the reciever, with no movement?
