Anyone here have one?   It looks like they come threaded now.  Is it 1/2x28 or 13.5x1 LHM?  Couldn't find any specs on Sig's site.  Anyway thinking of picking one up to use as a suppressor host.  Any experience's to help sway me to purchase one would be appreciated.

I was in the market for an MP5K clone such as the PTR, but too many issues with them being reported, along with having to change locking pieces (maybe rollers too) to shoot the gun suppressed, so it doesn't destroy itself [The MP5K versions at least].

I did some research and ended up with a Copperhead Gen 2.

Bonus- it's the same length as an MP5K.

Thanks for the info on the thread pitch.  Placed an order for one yesterday.  I love shooting my MPX K's more than my MP5's and really looking forward to shooting the Copperhead.  Nice setup BTW.

You can get a Gear Head brace adapter and a tailhook mod 1 for the end of the brace.  Looks ten times better and doesn’t rotate.  Plus it’s metal and not rubber.

Picked it up this afternoon.  Mounted a k2+ grip, ILWT Navy tri lug mount, backup sights and a red dot.  I’ll take it out tomorrow morning and see how it runs suppressed.

LOL the can is longer than the gun!  Should be pretty quiet.

I was going for max suppression.  Shot 120 rounds though it yesterday.  50 rounds of Hush 147GR was flawless.  50 rounds of Hush 165GR had a couple stovepipes and a few fail to lock back after last round.  Shot a box (20) of Sig 147GR hollowpoints with no issues.  I didn't notice any gas to face or peppering which is just like my other MPX K's.  Going to shoot it more to break it in and hopefully get it to run 165GR Hush reliably.

I enjoy mine. It's fun as hell suppressed, but slightly gassy. I fixed that with a Geissele charging handle and it helps seal up the rear a little, but it still comes out the ejection port.

It's 13.5x1 LH threaded.

Oh....and it fits in a tiny bag.
