I’ve got a chance to buy a new FLIR pts536 for $3100. Unopened box. Should I do it? Will be my first thermal, using mainly for coyote hunting. Will share time on 223 ar15 and 308 rem700.

There is one on the EE (nib warranty replacement) for $3300. So I say “YES” if you’re gonna actually use it.

Great sccpe for coyotes. The image is very nice. I bought one for coyotes and 100-150 yard pigs and it excels at that. It’s high magnification don’t expect to do a lot of close in work. Buy the battery pac from TNVC.

Good point. But if it fries my scope I have the possibility of some recourse with tnvc......right tnvc? Lol just kidding....or not?
